Jeremy Fish
October 27, 2005
Not only is Jeremy Fish’s work stunning, but if here were to start a vinyl toy line, there wouldn’t be a penny in my checking account. Or would there be?

Eurobad 74′
October 20, 2005
Eurobad is suppose to be ‘the bad interior design of the 70’s’, and I don’t know about you… but I think most of it is effing awesome.

Comcastic!
October 18, 2005
Branden Hall and Erik Natzke worked with the Barbarian Group and Number 9 to create Comcastic! Absolutely amazing use of flash; Natzke and Hall on a team = the best.

Broken Shelf
October 17, 2005

“a more natural way of shelving books.
the new structure that appears through the broken shelves gives space to differently sized books.
one element provides a place to sit and read inside the shelves.”

Walker
October 17, 2005
“Walker is not only an enlightening example for independent design, but he goes his way through life. Literally speaking: He will not fall down if you kick him – he will run away. Obviously just as long the fabric coated cable will let him.”
Scion Installiation
October 14, 2005
Andy Howell, Crash, David Choe, Daze, Eklips, Eye One, Fuze Green, How, Kenny Scharf, Kenton Parker, Keo, Krush, Mear, Michael Delahaut, Nosm, Retna, Revok, Revolt, Saber, Sever, Stay High 149, Swank, Tim McCormick, and more.

Building on the phenomenal success of the first tour, INSTALLATION 2004/2005 will expand into new cities, cultivating new artists from around the country. While the last year’s art was painted directly onto Scion xA sculptures and xB vehicles, this year’s art will be done on three by eight foot canvases. Widely recognized artists like Kenny Scharf, Mear, Andy Howell, Crash, Revok, Saber, David Choe, Revolt, Stay High 149 and more have already contributed their talent, and other artists will be painting live at Scion sponsored events throughout the year, expanding the collection as it travels across the country. Once again the aim of Scion’s INSTALLATION will be to foreground the artists and promote the integrity of the art. To do so, Scion will bring INSTALLATION 2004/2005 to new galleries and even museums, beginning with the Roq LaRue Gallery in Seattle in August 2004, eventually culminating in an eBay auction with proceeds benefiting non-profit youth organizations.
Project Fox
October 6, 2005
Hotel Fox invited 21 artists to re-design a total of 61 rooms. Furniture, carpets, wallpaper – the artists were given free reign to do whatever they want. Redevelopment of the property started in January 2005 and is finished now (actually in April, I can’t believe it floated under the radar this long).

“61 rooms, 21 artist, 1,000 ideas”
Each room is an individual piece of art. From whacky comical styles to strict graphic design. From fantastic street art and Japanese Manga to simply spaced out fantasies. You will find flowers, fairytales, friendly monsters, dreaming creatures, secrets vaults and… and… and…

I especially like the friendswithyou rooms.
Under Project Fox, there’s Club Fox and Studio Fox which can both be found on the main site.
Vans – Customize Me
October 5, 2005

If you visited the Taobot™ link, you’ll notice the pair of custom Vans slip-ons he created for Customize Me. The KDU have some photos up from the Barcelona Customize Me event.
Joshua Davis also created a pair for the event, but these were apparently stolen! wtf!
